A SQUARE THAT IS ANYTHING BUT SQUARE

Devonshire Square, just off Green Lanes is the place to be! In June we hosted our second market of the year along with Arbeit Studios. Despite the unseasonable weather, we had a fantastic day and a great range of local crafters, makers and bakers. Save the date for our next market on 14 September.

As well as the market, we now have a regular refill truck, Topup Truck visiting every Friday at 1.30pm so you can stock up on your household essentials plastic free.

Arbeit Studios have teamed up with Philanthropy and local artist Verdi Roy to host a fashion show on the Square on 20 July.

Arbeit Studios have lots of other events planned both on the Square and in their studio so look out for more details on social media and our website. We are excited about Devonshire Square becoming a permanent community space.

The architect’s plans are well underway and you can see the proposed designs on our website. We expect the work to start later in the year, pending a further consultation on the plans which has just closed.

There’s been lots of change on the high street in recent months. One new addition we were delighted to facilitate is pop-up shop Mini Garms Gang, London’s only kids and maternity swap shop. Emma sells beautifully curated preloved and vintage kids clothes and you can find her shop at 384A Green Lanes, N13 so do check it out.

Finally our greening volunteers continue to keep the high street looking lovely. The large bed outside the Job Centre is looking particularly spectacular this year and it is great to see the wildlife enjoying all the plants and flowers.

Keep up to date with what we are up to on social media
