ENFIELD TOOL LIBRARY - CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

Enfield Council in partnership with Forest Recycling Project is thrilled to be launching the Enfield Tool Library in mid-2025, in Palmers Green Library. They are looking for dedicated volunteers to join the team!

Enfield Tool Library, inspired by the successful Walthamstow Tool Library, aims to provide the community with access to a wide range of household and garden tools. Our mission is to reduce the need for individual ownership, promote sustainability, and foster a strong sense of community.

As a volunteer for this exciting new service you will play a crucial role in:

  • Reducing the environmental impact of tool and household items by encouraging tool sharing.

  • Helping community members save money and space.

  • Create a vibrant community hub where people can connect and collaborate.

We need enthusiastic individuals who can:

  • Assist with tool loans and returns.

  • Help maintain and organise the tool inventory.

  • Support community events and workshops.

  • Contribute to our social media presence to raise awarness of the Tool Library.

If you would like to be a part of the first Tool Library in Enfield you can contact climate.emergency@enfield.gov.uk
