NIGHT LIFE IN PG

Think there isn’t much of a nightlife in Palmers Green? Think again. There’s plenty happening of an evening across the high street to suit your mood. Whether it’s live music, a pub quiz, delicious dinning experiences or cocktails with friends, here’s what’s coming up over the summer months.

Thursday night is ladies’ night at 90 on the Green 5pm-10pm with 20% off the total bill, plus a free bottle of wine for groups of four or more.

Starfish and Coffee ease you into the weekend with a DJ every Friday and Saturday night. They have a new evening menu and cocktails. Watch the sunset over Broomfield Park on these long summer evenings.

Holtwhites Bakery have several evening events coming up including a Midsummer “seasoning” menu and Quiz and food evenings. Check their website for more details.

The Fox pub is open until late with tasty food and drink as well as a regular Thursday night pub quiz.

Slightly further afield, head to Chi Chi’s which transforms into a fun cocktail bar every Thursday and Friday night 7-11pm.

There’s lots of events coming up in the park to keep you entertained over the summer, including the Saturday Love All Dayer, A celebration of Jazz, funk, soul and disco on 22 June. The Dog and Duck has it’s grand reopening on Saturday 8 June following a change of ownership. They will have live music and a chance to win a £30 bar tab! Look out for more live music from this friendly local boozer in the months to come.
